Still sticking with the debris issue, still no hybrids, still not buying it.

    Pissed at GM and Allison

Quick take from deep left field. I haven't watched ANY of the videos on the GM/Allison or GM 10 SPD issues. (I haven't watched much of ANY YouTube lately) I know Ford and GM co-developed that transmission and until very recently the GM has been rock solid, the Ford has issues up and down it's...

Many New Expensive Trucks Can’t Follow California Winter Tire Chain Law

Washington has the same laws, they don't care about tire type. If chains are required, you must use them. Also, you must carry them when traversing the mountain passes from 11/1 to 4/1. Been driving over the passes for 25 years, hundreds of times, never needed them. They have a few different...

    2025 engines won't last

You left Ford and RAM out, those stalwarts of reliability and that hurts my feelings!! LOL

    2025 engines won't last

When I bought my sons 2000 Ranger I spent way too much time reading about them...I think the plastic intake is prone to causing a lot of problems from warping and breaking. Good your's hasn't.

    2025 engines won't last

I think you both can be right. Alex usually does his pros and cons separately, I'm not saying he'll put out a video of how new engines are built to last but he brings up fair points in the video and mentions known issues. Some of the things he points out are based in fact: There have been...

    Crappy @#$%ing parts

Lots of software recalls are for pretty major issues and lots are for minor items. Either way, a recall is a reliability issue imo.

    Crappy @#$%ing parts

I guess it depends on what you consider a problem because Ford's recall rate says otherwise.

    Crappy @#$%ing parts

Sorry to hear that. Interestingly, Getty just did a video on why he thinks so many issues are arising with new trucks. Two of the things he pointed at: 1) So much plastic in engines nowadays & 2) The gauge in wiring, and connectors, has been reduced dramatically in recent years. Among many...

How many videos do you watch a day?

Not much anymore honestly. Meateater content is the most I consume Vice Grip Garage weekly, probably skip one a month I listen/watch podcasts as I have the time. Mowing, driving or on YT if have free TV time. I'm not watching much of any truck content lately, last 4-6 months.

How many videos do you watch a day?

One day a couple years ago I was scrolling YouTube and watched a short of Sarah N tuned, my son walked in and said oh that's that guy that's a gal now. I thought he was joking and it blew my mind...

2020-2021 Ford Super Duty Recall: 115k Steering Column Defect, Loss of Steering

For ****'s Sake. I think we should start celebrating Ford weekly when they don't have a major recall.

2020-2021 Ford Super Duty Recall: 115k Steering Column Defect, Loss of Steering

I briefly read about a Ford Ranger recall having to do with side airbags but it was a headline and I didn't get far into the article to see when this actually happened. When I went back to read it my screen refreshed and it was gone. Is that new?

How many videos do you watch a day?

I voted catch up on the weekends, but it's not always the weekend, occasionally throw something on during the week. There's a podcast I watch on YT every Monday, then Vice Grip Garage every Sat morning. Other videos I want to watch are typically throughout the weekend, sometimes none sometimes 2-3.

2027 Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2 Spied: Finally a Raptor, RHO Fighter Riding on 35s?

Yup. Don't think it's just Toyota either though some of the brands are definitely better. I don't have any personal experience but I've heard the Broncos are really good. But that does raise some questions I've seen online, just because the light locks in right away doesn't always mean it's...

2027 Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2 Spied: Finally a Raptor, RHO Fighter Riding on 35s?

I've found it to be a steeper learning curve but now I have it to where I can kick it on when I want it, keep it engaged as long as I want or disengage it pretty quickly. I get it though the e-locker is smoother...when you can get it to lock and unlock. Too many off roading videos of guys...
