Thinking About an ISUZU for My Next Truck — Thoughts?

Hey everyone,


I’m considering buying an ISUZU pickup / truck and wanted to get input from fellow owners. Some of the things I’m wondering:


  • How is ISUZU’s reliability long term?
  • What are real fuel economy numbers, especially in city + highway driving?
  • How easy is it to get spare parts and service in U.S./your area?
  • How does it compare vs other trucks (Toyota, Ford, Nissan etc.) in terms of value and performance?

If you own or have owned an ISUZU, I’d love to hear your pros & cons, what you wish you knew before buying, and whether you’d recommend it.

Welcome to the site.


They haven't sold Isuzu for years in the US. Maybe even decades. If I was doing the research, I'd check Thailand, Australia, and Britain to get a feel of what people think.
