I've been very happy. Only issue I had was an intermittent CEL. This was fixed with an ECM update, under warranty, about 8000 miles ago, and has not been a problem since.

Im at just about 17000 on my 24 AT4 3.0L, and other than having to reboot my infotainment system a couple of times its been problem free. I am on Andriod rather than iOS but your issue sounds more infotainment system related than phone related. Hopefully GM finds a fix for you soon.
