RHO for Tim

Order update! My truck moved into production and I have an estimated ship date (heavy on the estimated) for 10/1. Hoping by the end of October I can pick it up.

Also, a viewer pointed out the fact I ordered this several months ago and thought that was way too long. I thought it was about average for my recent truck purchases. Thougths?

I wouldn't get married to that build date just yet.... it's been VERY slow going so far. Hoping we'll have more info on pacing over the next few weeks :)

Oh I've been covering the drama going on at Stellantis. I'm still on the by end of December thinking personally. Hopeful by end of October.

In regards to the orders & timing yes almost 400 orders placed. 20% have build dates for September already (scheduled Job #1 for RHO is now listed as 9/9/24). Judging timing on this still extremely difficult because orders have been open since 4/25, production start 9/9, but RAM does not build them in order of receiving nor in accordance with any sort of dealer allocation. Ram builds the trucks in the way that is most convenient for RAM. If you were ordering in September I would be prepared to received your RHO any time between December - January, with Nov/Feb also being outlier possibilities.
I can confirm the above.. I placed my RHO order on 9/11 and it has already moved to scheduled as of 9/16, the dealership said production should start around the 1st week of Oct. Was not expecting to move through the process this fast, as I was originally told not to expect it until closer to Feb/March.

Video gold!. First impressions, MPG, comfort, interior etc. Hit it all and then reference back to it in future videos.
I'm following the same pattern I did for the other three trucks. A new wrinkle may include a stop in Lubbock, Texas to compare against a built Dodge race truck. Working out these details as I type this.

Love the video.. So how does the engine sound when in Baja mode? Ik it's not the TRX but similar to the base Raptor?
I wish I could have heard the exhaust note. The two trucks we were in had a demo mode setup and wouldn't start. The trucks on the track were going so slowly, you couldn't hear anything and putting any audio out would have been a disservice to the truck. That's why I put audio over the driving portion.

I asked a few times to start one up and it just didn't happen. Then, I had to run off to another press conference. Soon though I'll get the exhaust note on camera.

You make a good point. On their website, Ram is listing it the same as their other HO versions of 15/21/17, but everywhere else, including FuelEconomy.gov, lists it as 14/16/15. I would imagine it's a typo on the Ram website and the latter numbers are correct.

Looking forward to real world RHO MPG from Tim......after he stops jumping it.:p

Lol .. I am betting his mpg will be lower than advertised in the beginning. It might come up after he stops grinning so much. Then again, do miles accumulate while in the air?

Tim, I got a question about the RHO MPG's? I am seeing various media reports that are saying 16-17 Highway but RAM's website, specific to the RHO still reads 21?? Am I missing something?

I’ve seen this question popping up. Jill and I pulled up the Monroney sticker and it matches what you show on the website. That’s really all I know. We idled the truck quite a bit while shooting and it wouldn’t be fair to report on those numbers. I can’t wait to road trip it and figure things out. I also plan on doing a fill up with non-premium fuel to see what the difference is for the truck.
