    Hurricane Fuel Economy

I’m surprised you’re not getting a bit better mileage. I can only speak from my experience with the V8 but I have noticed a large improvement in fuel mileage since I traded in my 2017 ram outdoorsman(v8 with the 392 rear end) for a 2023 Ram 1500 sport(in Canada sport is a trim between big horn...

Anyone else cross shop a Nissan Frontier vs Honda Ridgeline?

Enjoy the new ride. After some break in time… “drive it like you stole it”.

2026 Dodge Hornet delayed, future uncertain due to tariffs

The other problem is it takes a very long time to shift gears even if the correct decisions start to be made. Personally, I could see them selling off some brand names under the stellantis banner. Any major changes put in after the ceo change probably won’t bear fruit for 2 years or so minimum...

New VW ID.Buzz bus failing already in U.S.? Red flags

The range you get for the price on the Buzz was a problem as soon as it was rolled out. Niche is right.

    Fitness journey

I’ll chime in on those rest days as well. They are extremely important. When I was doing my knee and back physio I was performing the stretches and exercises incessantly. I took a trip and decided to take a week off and it helped my back loosen up and relaxed some of the tense muscles. I don’t...

What happened to the $10k Toyota truck? It is on sale now

Perhaps the way this year has gone so far people have gotten some media fatigue in general? I’m curious if there are trends for time of year etc in social media like the old tv ratings… Seems to me people just didn’t watch as much TV content in July in the old days? Just a thought. I’m from a...

What happened to the $10k Toyota truck? It is on sale now

A cheap truck on the market can only help the marketplace as a price influence. Perhaps I’m too optimistic.

Great discussion on how reliability data works and where it can fall short on being useful

I like to see the results from all of the reliability score lists. But I like getting the background on what the data is based on(and if editor opinion is part of the recommendation). I take all results with a grain of salt. Unfortunately, we all have our personal biases when we listen to lists...

Tim and Jill's job just got harder

Makes you wonder why AI is allowed to sample copyright material and spit out summaries and conclusions. A human would be taken to court if they plagiarized too much and made money off of it.

    Engineers on parts quality

I wonder if all of the successful builds would look the similar? Sure would be a complicated game especially if you can pick what country your parts are created in as well as where the vehicle is assembled.

Just joking of course but perhaps you just have to stop taking so many high speed turns.

New Ram trucks 10 year, 100k warranty is actually a limited-time offer?

During the presentation they mentioned trying this out. I wonder if they will extend it if they see a jump in sales in response to the enhanced warranty. Especially in light of people saying they are reluctant about the new hurricane engine. It would be a shame if it was that short term.

Is greed fueling higher new truck prices?

The comments you’ve been getting on these truck price videos are comical. Don’t let them discourage you. People always want something for nothing and want to complain about it at the same time. Car makers are in their businesses to make money. They will charge whatever the market will bear...

    DODGE recalls the EV Charger..

I just find it ironic that a muscle car even as an EV is recalled for not being loud enough. I still would like to take one for a spin to see for myself.

New 2026 Ram truck warranty raises to 10 years, 100k miles

I was laughing at the same comments. There are always haters out there along with hater bot comments on everything out there as well. Everyone has some prejudices for certain brands. I’ve experienced good and bad from the big 3 over the last 40+ years of driving. A new car/truck is always a bit...

New 2026 Ram truck warranty raises to 10 years, 100k miles

I’m not sure the dial shifter was at fault. They had great sales with the dial shifter in 2019, 2020 and 2021. They also fell off in sales a lot when they dropped the classic. I may be wrong but I blame people being hesitant on the hurricane engine. I see this warranty change as a direct...

    Anyone watching LeMans?

I didn’t realize Le Mans was on. I try to catch as many F1 races as I can. I used to watch the cup series and the Indy series (formerly CART) but I also only watch F1 now. I do catch some 24 hour race highlights now and again. When I catch some superbike highlights I always find it kinda freaky...

    Truck spotting in Key West

Towing boats can sure put you into some high numbers pretty quickly. Just the trailers can weigh quite a bit. I can see wanting a heavy duty truck for a lot of those costal boats even if technically some 1/2 tons could do it. You don’t want to be towing near your limit very often.
