Silverado Seat Comfort

Has anyone found a good solution to the lack of seat comfort in these trucks? I have a 2025 RST with leather that I've had for 2 months and the seats are so uncomfortable even after 30 minutes in the truck. The bottom cushion is rock hard and the back is extremely stiff plus the headrest tilts too far forward. In addition, the left foot rest (dead pedal) sticks out so far and is steep which forces me to put the seat back in order to make my legs comfortable but then I can barely reach the steering wheel even with it telescoped out all the way.

You're not alone in not liking the GM seats but I don't know the solutions guys are finding and using. I have a 2021 GMC Sierra and just put 900 miles on it over the last 2 days, that was about 14ish hours in the truck. I love my seats and don't have any issues with it. Mine is also leather and it is stiff but I find it ergonomically really good.

Sorry man, maybe try a purple gel seat cushion. They're sold at a lot of trucks stops and well liked, or a more contoured seat cushion. I use one of those at my office, helps a lot.

My Dad bought the cushion mentioned above. He would just pull it out each time. Since he was a GM retiree, he wanted to stay with GM for the discount, but I can tell you we talked about seat comfort a lot. It wasn't just the Silverado, it was in Cadillacs, Buicks, GMC, etc...

I can tell you for a fact, the newly launched GM vehicles are all getting better seats. I think GM had a moment there were seat comfort slipped off the priority list.
