The big fight will be over the refunds. First will be the argument if the refunds even get made. And then, if the $150 billion that was collected is paid back to the businesses, will they in turn pay us back since we paid for it through the raised prices? Of course, they'll argue that which will create another case for the SC.
 
It's interesting. People want me to report on it, but I don't think I'm going to unless an automaker decides to move production. Do I see any automaker truly doing that and not just doing it to look good? No, I do not.

If I was GM, Ford or any other automaker, you can bet I'd be demanding a refund. They lost billions.

Yep, so many kept pricing and ate the difference, then there was those that passed it on. Which is why the fight will be so long.
 
I ended up doing a video when I found some more information from the White House that specifically excludes nearly all vehicles including trucks from the 15% tariff. So, there's no reason for GM, Ram or Ford to bring truck production back to the U.S.

I wonder what industry he is specifically targeting to move production back to the U.S. Tech? Medical? I haven't come across it yet.

Better believe I'm watching the USMCA closely. He made a lot of campaign promises to bring jobs back and the USMCA is the last area I can see where that would force companies to change their plans.
