Just to close this off. I did have it fade out on me today as well. As a work around I reloaded the page and if I could click the continue button on the open chrome app prompt fast enough everything would work fine if I delayed that prompt would disappear and I could not interact with the forum I had opened. Anyway, not a priority at all due to the fact no one else seems to have this problem.
