LML PCV Reroute – Stock Truck Owners

Hello everyone.

For those running a mostly stock LML Duramax, is a PCV reroute actually worth doing? I’ve been reading about how much oil vapor can enter the intake through the factory setup, and I’m considering changing mine before putting more miles on the truck.

I’m not chasing extra horsepower; I’m mainly interested in keeping the intake tract, intercooler, and turbo plumbing as clean as reasonably possible.

If you’ve installed a reroute, did you pair it with a catch can or keep the setup simple?

Have you noticed any drawbacks during cold weather or extended highway driving? I’d like to hear from owners who have lived with the modification for a few years.
