Interesting vid on warranty denial on GMC

Its not like the old days, when a wire went from the battery to a fuse to the switch on the dash to the bulb...
There was no control module that you need a scanner to talk to command the indicator light (bulb) to see if its connected and drawing the correct current, then turn on, if not throw a code that lights up another indicator on the dash to tell you there is a problem, then you need a scanner and a full wiring diagramto see what it really means...
