We do the same thing in Wyoming. For Nebraska, there is a deer check station and you have to bring in the whole carcass.

What we get during the week we hang at camp. Butcher on a "bad" day for hunting. But sometimes, when it gets damn cold, they tend to get a little stiff....lol

Sort of. We had 13 cases spreading to 3 counties last year. I see it as peace of mind for me and my family.

Wow, here in PA we had over 400 test pos in 22-23 year. And we don't even have mandatory check stations, those were just volunteer checks. We have designated CWD management areas now. Any deer harvested within that area cannot be transported out of that area and can only be butchered at specific "certified" butchers within there. But still no mandatory check stations though. They should add that.

Regardless, I rarely hunt local anymore. So crowded and space restricted. Too many bullets flying. I travel 500 miles away into NY.
