Factory Specs Gladiator Rubicon Off-Road

This past weekend, I went off-roading in the mountains of Western Massachussetts. This was my first serious excursion after two and a half years of ownership and I find myself with renewed respect for the truck. We were riding over sections of the path covered with jagged stones, having at times to drop a foot from a boulder into a muddy puddle and keep going. At no point did the wheels spin or the transmission show any hesitation. The truck kept going at a steady and slow pace, seemingly unfazed. I am a confident beginner in the world of off-roading thanks to the engineering of the Gladiator Rubicon. Job well done Jeep in my opinion.

The Rubicon is, debatably, the best off road vehicle from the factory that money can buy. Whichever you get; 2 door, 4 door, or Gladiator pickup version…they’re all the best. The Bronco would probably like to have a word with me for saying that, thus my “debatably” at the beginning lmao

Having a front and rear e-locker is absolutely what makes the Rubicon so perfect. And the electronic swaybar disconnect is extremely useful too, not to mention the beefier axles and better gearing of course.

Current refreshed models (2024+) also have floating rear axles which means beefier from my little understanding but apparently it’s beloved.

I’m a Jeep guy through and through, yet have not owned a Rubicon anything yet. Really hoping to get my hands on a project TJ one day.
