I'm surprised they sold roughly 8400 of them. I saw one on the street recently and it looks nice, but man it does not have any muscle car spirit to it. Where's the rumble? Where's the flashiness? Where's the excitement?

You can say "dumbest shit ever" after you've driven it. I actually really liked it. I thought it was fun to drive on a race track and really quiet and comfortable on road. It's not without quirks, but I don't believe it deserves your rancor. IMHO. Then haters gonna hate. 😉 In case anyone is curious, here's my review:

I thought there was plenty of muscle car spirit, and I actually felt the rumble. I also thought it was flashy. Maybe I'm a party of 1, but I liked it. Linked my review in another comment.

From a muscle car fan I like the sound, the smell of the exhaust, the rumble and gear changes of high RPM shifts.

Is the EV actually better than the ICE version? Or is it pretty good for an EV substitute?

I did not drive it and I would love to, but it lacks the outside flair factors that a traditional muscle car provide.

Muscle cars are a special category, kinda like rat rod, and it needs to have certain things to truly fit the bill.
