Broken exhaust manifold bolts

I found out where my exhaust tick is coming from, the two rear bolts on the drivers side are broken off 4.3 V6, I found a kit to fix it (band aid fix) as I don't think I want to open up that can of worms taking the manifold off and drilling or welding a nut on the broken bolts.

Does that setup have an aluminum block/aluminum heads with an iron manifold? Those 2 metals expand at different rates and eventually can break the bolts. The RAM HEMI has always had this issue.

My 4.3 V6 is cast iron block and heads.
