I loved Ken Burns series on the Civil War. He really brought the personal aspect to that series. I'm looking forward to see what he brings to this one.

Man! That was really good!
I like how they showed it from all angles and perspectives. I learned more than I did at school. Which, to be fair, is expected. they have a lot to cover and couldn't get too in depth.
It also shows why Florida was never a part of the Thirteen Colonies that revolted. They were too new to Britain and were still adjusting when this happened.

I'll have to catch up. Big fan of Ken Burns as well. I've been slammed with bringing this new team on board lately.

A year or two ago I stumbled upon an American revolution podcast by Michael Troy. Each episode was 30 to 45 minutes and took you from before the revolution through the revolution ...hundreds of episodes. One of the best things I've ever listened to.

I haven't, definitely check it out.
They have an offshoot series detailing Napoleon and D-Day. Both are amazing.
