My wifes expedition is a much softer seat and feels way better than my GMC ...until we go for all day drives. The GM seats, as you point out, are harder but I find them more comfortable on longer drives. I don't know if it's a support thing or what but that's what ive noticed.

This truck so far has been rock solid with plenty of power for my uses and it’s quiet and smooth riding. I have no complaints. I hope folks find this useful.

If I don't go 3/4 ton my next truck will be the 3.0 GMC. That mileage/range is fantastic.
