2027 Toyota Tundra Hybrid vs. 2027 Chevy Silverado 1500: Which One Should I Buy?

The 2027 Toyota Tundra hybrid vs. 2027 Chevy Silverado 1500 comparison has become more than an academic exercise for me. I am thinking about buying one of these trucks. I have owned previous versions of both. I bought a third-generation 2022 Tundra with the twin-turbocharged V6, and I previously owned a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country with the 3.0-liter Duramax diesel. I have to say this surprised me when I put this together. Often, I'm so busy reporting the news or making it that I don't notice how trucks stack up.

The real struggle for me is going to be from a business perspective. The 2022 Tundra was a massive success in that regard; however, it was a FULL refresh. The Silverado is a full refresh, so it should get the nod?? Tundra content still outperforms most others on this media outlet. I don't love that. I'd rather it was equal.
 
I vote GMC, it’s missing from your ownership experience. Silverado if the GMC does not come out in time.
GMC doesn't get the traffic that Chevrolet gets. It's not off by much, but every little bit helps when you are a small business.
