The 2026 Nissan Frontier updates are out and it will include a new dark armor and Roush package and a new drive mode selector. Fresh Looks and New Packages Nissan builds on the Frontier’s recent redesign with new style and features for 2026. A new Dark Armor package gives the SV grade a stealthier look, with 17-inch black alloy wheels, darkened grille and trim, and black interior accents. A new paint option, Citrus Strike, joins the lineup for PRO-X and PRO-4X grades, adding a vibrant alternative to last year’s Afterburn Orange. Sharp looking truck. Not what I need but interesting. Surprised the Roush package doesn’t have an engine tweak unless I missed it.
It doesn't. A lot of people pointed that out as a huge miss.

I found it interesting someone else stated the V6 is a dog. That engine is pretty controversial IMO. People love it for reliability being a non-turbo while others hate it because it is a non-turbo and is considered slower than other competitors.

It may be very popular for the Frontier. Just having that look and capability out there could boost sales of all models. For most off roading applications you wouldn’t need any more horsepower than the V6.
I’ve always liked the look of the frontier. I hope it does well for them.
