2025 Toyota 4 Runner payload concerns

Does seem low but can you list other like vehicles for context? What's the LC for example?

So the Land Cruiser payload is 1,100 pounds ( just put a deposit on one). The new 2026 Honda Passport is 950 pounds

I was talking to I guy with a Defender 110 and his load is 1,800 pounds. I look at the door jam of a Tacoma Limited hybrid max and it's pay was 1,200 pounds.

I believe the TRD pro and trail-hunter have a slightly higher payload. That's what they did with the Tacoma by upping the GVWR. If they didn't do that with a 4runner that's going to be a massive problem/disappointment.

Any mid-size suv should have at least a 1K. Even an '80s unibody Cherokee had 1100.
