2025 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek - opinions?

Y’all, I was pretty set on a Tahoe or Suburban. Convinced myself we NEEDED the space for all our trips…but had time to kill today and had been wanting to look at other smaller 3-row SUVs, so I did. I stopped and looked at the only RC Pathfinder my local stealership had and think I accidentally fell in love 😬

Anyone have opinions/experiences with these? The only thing I didn’t like was the infotainment unit.

It’s not in the same category, but if you like it, give it a ride!

You should also try the new armada. It’s so much better than it used to be.

The Armada is so tall and fugly now though. And for the money, I feel like a Grand Highlander or Seqoia would be better options…or the original idea of a Tahoe lol

Idk, I’m kicking tires of other options right now but the RC gave me Xterra-lite vibes and I really liked it. The infotainment center was suuuuper tiny but it still had an HD rear view camera vs the Durango GT rental I’m in at the moment 🤦‍♂️

I’m gonna do some research on these and see how they’re doing, motor/trans/electronics wise.

Sequoia over an Armada?! Can I ask why?

Personal preference…they look a lot better right now. I liked the last gen Armada a lot more. This new Armada just seems tall and skinny (optical illusion I’m sure). I know next to nothing about their reliability or powertrain(s?) now that they’re not Titan based. Just purely off esthetics.

Thanks for the answer!

Yeah the reviews I’ve found say basically that. Good for that, great for camping, surprisingly great for towing up to 6K lbs, but a true off reader it is not.

I don’t need another jeep so think this would fit the bill…just gotta get over the mediocre infotainment center.

I stopped by with the wifey this time to look at the Pathfinder Rock Creek again and while I still love the look of it and everything I read says it’d handle our needs…the storage space behind the third row is pretty small.

So, thinking of you, I asked to look at their Armadas too and was shocked to see their luggage space behind the third row was barely bigger than the Pathfinder’s…BUT the leg room for the second and third rows are insane. Also, the Pro 4X isn’t as ugly as all the others. Lastly, their interiors are hella nice.

The other hard “no” is the push buttons for the drive selection. Not even styled like on Hondas. Just…normal buttons 😬 weird.

Anyway, thinking we’ve decided on the loaded Telluride 👀 if the Government ever ends this ridiculous shut down and I can get all my back pay for my move(s) 🤦‍♂️
