I wrote up this post then got hit with even more details after embargo broke like the fact the SuperCab is now only available on XL and XLT models. And the Platinum Plus is $6,500 add on, that's about half as much as it was for the F-150.

Now that they have the info on their website, it looks like they dropped the HD Limited for 2025. So, are we to assume the Platinum Plus is filling that gap?

Better update than Ram... Not thrill about the brake controller becoming optional on the lower trim, but the rest looks good. Looks like their expanding the 6.8l usage with it being standard in the XLT now.

I like your bottom line on your article. To that I would add, due to all the extra electronics and fluff, it will be less durable and reliable, because it will. I think 22 was the best year for the super duty. Also, that front grill is no less hideous that it was in 23.

The Platinum Plus pricing is interesting—half what they were charging on the F-150. Wonder if they're scaling it down or if Super Duty just comes more loaded. Either way makes it easier to justify the upgrade

SuperCab being locked to just XL and XLT is pretty restrictive. Does that match dealer demand or is that mostly Ford's call?
