2023 GMC 1500 Denali 3.0L

Hello All,

New to the forum. I recently purchased a 2023 Gmc 1500 Denali with the 3.0 diesel with 30k miles. Can any of you provide suggestions on things like oil and filter brands? Or any aftermarket suggestions to get the longest possible life for this truck? Any do or dont's?

Same engine here (LZ0) in a 2024 w/ 19000 trouble free miles. Oil is called out as 0W20 Dexos D available in many brands, Mobile 1 ESP at Walmart for $28 / 5qt jug. I do changes at 5k and did an oil analysis showing it was still good. I may go up to a 0W30 since I tow during the summer. You can go down the rabbit hole in the oil world.. I get a OEM oil filter. Changing the fuel filter this spring after 2 yrs. Get OEM there are ripoffs out there. Don't compromise the fuel system.
