RHO after a brief rain after sunset

One other thing I noticed at Ram: They've completely dropped the 2kw invertor as an option on any new trucks. Not on the 25 or the 26. Too bad, I really liked that idea. And honestly, stupid easy. You can buy an aftermarket 3kw invertor for a couple hundred right now. I do like that they are...

    GM-kNOWLEDGE IS KEY

Huh, did he ever say they listed a bad OIC? I thought he backed them up that the higher viscosity would help with the out-of-spec parts from the beginning.

Should convicted diesel emissions removal shop owners be pardoned with laws changing?

Oh hell no. It was a law at the time of the offense, and it was broken. Start that crap and it will be a new defense for other crimes: "But your honor, in the future, this may not be a crime so why convict them now?" This isn't a truck owner busted at a smog test. This is a businessman that...

Ford recalls and tariffs add up to $36 million loss in Q2, higher losses projected

Yep. I think they're all trying to see who blinks first. They know the first brand that raises prices will get most of the bad press before the others follow just shrugging to "go along".

Ford recalls and tariffs add up to $36 million loss in Q2, higher losses projected

Unfortunately, it's gonna catch up to all of them eventually. Investers will only stand for so much loss.

Ford recalls and tariffs add up to $36 million loss in Q2, higher losses projected

I think we all saw this coming. With the companies doing their best not to raise prices due to tariffs, their lower earnings will reflect that choice. That $100 billion raised so far had to come from somewhere.

Great news! So about a month without? Yeah that sucks.

2022 Tundra dead in the service lot for almost a month…

Yeah, that's a shit show for sure. They gotta step up the game for dead trucks. That should redirect any engines for recall accordingly.

Jeep Grand Cherokee recall: Head restraints may not lock

Did you notice this was the first week in a long time Ford was not on the recall notice? Way to go Ford! Wonder if they got a sign "1 week without a recall"? They probably only have a 1 and a 0.

2022 Tundra dead in the service lot for almost a month…

Is the dealer causing the delay? Or has Toyota come back and informed you that it will be delayed?

Ram Customer Care Response to 0w20 Oil Question

All true but does that mean it really needs it all the time or just when towing at high elevation in extreme hot conditions? We assume a heavier oil will increase longevity, but do we really have any evidence of that? Or what does that look like? Are we talking an extra 10K miles or 100K?

Does it also occur when in neutral? Just want to rule out transmission.

2026 Toyota Tundra updated: Fixes some problems, leaves others desired changes

Yep. I said it when everyone made a big deal about it back in 2022. My Ram "Sport" has none and it could not be optioned with them whatsoever. The front fascia has no openings to even mount them through. I would have needed to take a reciprocating saw to it.

2026 Toyota Tundra updated: Fixes some problems, leaves others desired changes

I think they've been better since 2022 than they've been for quite some time. Maybe they're on to something! Drop the tow-hooks and have big engine recall seemed to work well.

Stellantis posts 2.7B loss, blames tariffs

Maybe because it was much more than expected? Few makers are feeling the tariffs yet because current inventory being sold hasn't had the tariffs assigned. Next half of the year will be different. Which is amazing when they say that could be $1-1.5 B. Big jump from $385 M.
