    United Business Trip Nightmare

I mean.. I thought the same thing and also thought I would be irritated as hell that I took a trip to see a van lol.

Is the GM 6.2L still a bad engine?

It's definitely a pain in the ass researching with all of the negativity. My previous post was in jest, as I've and others, have posted quite a bit.... I actually don't think you can really go wrong with any of the 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton trucks these days. They all COULD have an issue but they are...

Is the GM 6.2L still a bad engine?

Agreed. Also, in the truck world owners of one brand love to jump all over the issues of the other brands and pile on. This is the worst between Ford and GM slightly less so for RAM (because they couldn't afford a Ford or GM so they get pity points) and even less so for Toyota (not real truck...

Is the GM 6.2L still a bad engine?

I have over 70k on mine (2021) that and the 10 speed have been the best powertrain I've ever driven. All in all about 18k affected 6.2 units, quite small on the big picture.

I went off three days ago.

I read the 2025 seat arona article on the website and had a similar feeling when he said this, he's using a Subaru as a comparison: "... the increased fuel economy of FWD is more prized than the capability of AWD. Plus, modern traction and stability controls make FWD almost as good anyway."...

Best Diesel Tuning Services for Improved Performance?

I don't have much information on the topic personally. I've known quite a few friends that have tuned their diesels and they're typically very happy with the outcome a little more power a little more response and at times better efficiency. I would find a diesel tuning shop near your location...

    Buck 110 price jump

The Civivi I bought in 2021 for 52 is now 63 The Spyderco was 48 in 2023 now 51 Oddly the CRKT was 32 in 2021 and now 24 I think that was a new release at the time.

    Buck 110 price jump

In response to your last question I use my knife for everything but being a smaller pocket knife it's not fit for the heavier duty stuff so if I'm camping or out in the woods I usually have something else in the truck. I always have the Leatherman skeletool in my truck and a SOG 6" fixed beat it...

    Buck 110 price jump

Also never been a Buck fan. For everyday I've carried CRKT, Civivi, Kershaw's and Spyderco. I tend to keep those under 40. My kids for my birthday last year got me the new knife that Work Sharp is making and they're fantastic, one of the best knives I've had but they are more expensive I think...

    RAM 3500

I have not, other than to say that seat comfort seems to be a very individual thing, so what you like or dislike will probably be different than what other people like dislike. Everyone seems to hate the Chevy/GMC truck seats. We have a 2020 Limited Expedition and they're super plush and soft...

    Ruling from the Supreme Court

Received this from one of our leasing agents The IEEPA Tariffs Are Being Turned Off— Effective 2/24 U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) confirmed it will stop collecting the tariffs struck down by the Supreme Court as of 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24. This is a meaningful...

The ruling was about the methodology they used, many other avenues for them to tariff and keep going.

    Used truck on the channel

I wouldn't be interested. Now, if you gathered up a handful of used trucks and did a "how are they wearing" compared to eachother... I can see value in that.

Extended warranty due to new truck prices

In 1999 I bought a used, I think 97 or 98, Dodge Ram 1500. It only had 20k ish miles. I purchased an extended warranty with the truck. Less than a year later the transmission has been replaced, the front diff had been rebuilt and the catalytic converter was replaced. I remember seeing the...

Fleet sales allow them to make high end models. That's all I'm saying. Fleet pays the bills.

Don't dismiss fleet sales they're I think around half of the totals and skew much more towards lower trim levels.

Top 5 Features Trucks Need to Bring Back

Which is it lol? "Let’s put the turbos on the shelf. Naturally aspirated engines may not win spec-sheet drag races, but they win where it actually matters: longevity, sanity, and the quiet confidence of a motor that isn’t perpetually operating on the brink of thermodynamic collapse. Less...
