GM 3.0L Duramax Diesel Thrust Bearing Problem Causes Engine Failure, No Recall?

Yes, that stinks. The only problem I had heard about this engine in the past was the oil consumption when towing. It’s a great (or perhaps was) option for people who tow a lot and don’t need a one ton.

    3.6 V6 Valve Tick thread

I hope they fix it up quickly to your satisfaction. My wife owned 3 jeep grand cherokees over the years with the pentastar. We never experienced the valve tick. We did have one fail due to a bad cast at the factory under warranty and they replaced the engine at that time (pre covid) no problem...

New Ram Midsize Truck Production to Ohio, New Jeeps for Illinois – Record $13 Billion Invested in U.S.

I owned a 2002 Dakota with the small V8. Great truck. Eventually needed a full size and went for a 2010 ram 1500. I can only talk for myself but the Dakota and my 3 Rams have been essentially problem free. I’m hoping they don’t screw up the design of the new Dakota… Hopefully, you can get the...

Questions about my new Big Horn Night Edition: E-Locker axle? Flashing lights on steering wheel... Hot engine compartment hours after shut off, & more

I just went into the 2025 build and price for the big horn here in Canada. It shows an anti spin rear differential with the night edition and you needed to add the off road group for the e locker. Perhaps they changed the build and price site. That doesn’t clarify your window sticker.

Questions about my new Big Horn Night Edition: E-Locker axle? Flashing lights on steering wheel... Hot engine compartment hours after shut off, & more

For the e-locker question perhaps you should get the vin off of your truck (not the sticker) and do a VIN lookup to make sure the equipment listed matches the window sticker you were given? Just a thought. I just looked up my 2023 on https://dodgeforum.com/forum/vindecoder.php.

    2025 engines won't last

Happy Birthday Tim. No matter how old you get remember that I’ll still be older..lol On our topic, I agree that there have been too many engine issues recently from many manufacturers. Everyone struggling to be cutting edge. As a person who has been driving cars since the 70’s all I can say is...
