I wished automakers would stop trying to wage war against Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. They are not tech companies, let them do their things and just provide a good and reliable screen for it, focus on the making a car and let the tech be.

Give you an idea, the house I currently live in was worth $210K in 2015. We bought it for $430K in 2019 and it’s now worth around $900K. At this point my wife and I are expecting for our kids to live with us if the bubble doesn’t pop.

This data only looks at engine and I’m not sure GM engines in half ton trucks are all that great from a true long term reliability point of view. AFM and DFM have been out for a while now and are probably dropping the reliability factor by quite a bit. Or maybe like someone mentioned above...

Canada sits at 24% of new sales are trucks vs 20% for the US. Bigger, emptier country is probably responsible for it hahaha.

As someone living in Canada, making way more than the average salary here and I still have no idea how people here afford trucks. I’m in my early 30s so I missed the window for inexpensive housing but still, any basic half-ton is $65k plus.

It's the time it takes to go coast to coast in Canada, this is insane. Hopefully it's worth it.

And keep in mind, this is for a 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor and not a full size truck. The tremor package is not helping me in this case with the lift and bigger more aggressive tires, but I'm still driving a 2.3l turbo vs anything in a full size truck. If I averaged 14mpg like my cousins are in...
