2026 Chevy Silverado EV Trail Boss revealed as Superman truck

So, the extra profit then on those models are going to the dealer it seems. They're, I always assumed Ford not as much the dealer, making huge profits on all of those packages and addons. It doesn't take a genius to see the price increases for better suspension, wheels, tires, skid plates etc...

    Truck spotting in Key West

They mostly all look like work trucks but I am surprised at the pictures anyway showing a lack of midsize.

    3.0 L diesel 1500 vs 6.6 L diesel 2500 Silverado

My trailer is a 29' (34' with the tongue) and has a dry weight of 6450. I've towed it about 3k miles in 3.5 years. I've never wanted, or felt I needed more power (6.2) or stopping power. Most of my camping is dry so I'm hauling a generator, extra propane bottle and gas. As well as some wood and...

2026 Chevy Silverado EV Trail Boss revealed as Superman truck

Something I've been wondering lately and wonder if Tim could get any deeper on is profit per model. I have to think that they make a hell of a lot more profit on a Raptor, AT4X than they do on a Tremor or AT4 , which is more than a XLT or LTZ on down to the XL and LT. So, as the off road craze...

    3.0 L diesel 1500 vs 6.6 L diesel 2500 Silverado

The people and stuff you can take with you. Depending on the trim of 1500 you can expect a payload of around 1500. Some trims less and some more. So, you're going to be putting 600-700 lbs minimum on the bumper, this doesn't count batteries and propane on the tongue of the trailer. That leaves...

GM issues stop delivery on L87

The change to viscosity affecting miles per gallon is something that I've seen quite a bit and thought about myself. For me I wouldn't worry about the mpg I would want to protect the engine I still think the oil viscosity change is bs. They're basically admitting that there's a problem and...

    We are now on MSN!

That should be a nice boost, my home page is always the ms start news page. I've been seeing a ton of motor trend articles lately. It's a good variety of news sources.

    G-wagon towing?

Interesting, it weighs a couple hundred pounds more than my GMC half ton with a 14-in shorter wheel base due to my truck having the standard bed, not short bed. Haven't watched the video and I'm not sure about the towing technology in it but I have to imagine it's actually a pretty damn good...

2022-2025 Toyota Tundra recall: 443k water intrusion

Really good insights and it's a bummer you can't get the answers.

    We're getting a Tim Hortons

Oh, I like it all but I developed a sensitivity to caffeine and now too much will put me in the hospital. I can one, maybe two good cups of coffee a day. I had a bad habit of making a pot and drinking most of it. The Aero helped me dial back to one a day.

A Aero Press. Grind before and pack it in a baggie inside the Aero Press. Better than a Colombian breakfast.

2022-2025 Toyota Tundra recall: 443k water intrusion

Amen. You can see the change on the timeline. New tundra, Sequoia which is a terrible 3 row SUV, new Tacoma, 4 runner all the same.

2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 changes: colors, exhaust, tech

I feel like they have a pallete of 8-10 grays and just rotate through them. I always liked Satin Steel Metallic and the cement gray, I don't remember GMs name for it.

2022-2025 Toyota Tundra recall: 443k water intrusion

I don't know, this isn't the Toyota I grew up with. It's a flimsy feeling truck with lots of issues that just keep piling on.

Timmy's! I live an hour South of the border and there aren't any in my area. I regularly have to go up into BC for work and it's my regular coffee stop.

Jeep awning rooftop tent concept shown at Overland Expo West

I personally never got into it. I started to get into it but my family just kept growing. I've always been intrigued by the idea though because I love the concept of driving to nature and setting up camp in a minimalist way with lots of cool gadgets and toys. I respect the people that are into...

Jeep awning rooftop tent concept shown at Overland Expo West

I just keep noticing this trend with Stellantis even back to the Chrysler days. Late to the party. The problem with this idea is how much people who overland and get into this kind of stuff want a specific type, layout, brand etc. They study the hell out of all the options and buy the one that...

Ram 1500 Ramcharger delayed, Ram REV too

I think the truck is a really interesting outside the box idea ...and DOA. If it had landed within a year of the Lightning it had a chance.
