Jill is moving to freelance status

You say that like you'll never see me again. 🤣 So dramatic. You can't get rid of me that easily, and I fully expect to be a guest on livestreams in the future.

Jill is moving to freelance status

Hi, all ... just wanted to send a quick note here to let you know I'm officially moving to freelance status here at Pickup Truck + SUV Talk. So, I'm not gone, but I won't be as present. One of the best parts of PUTT has always been interacting with all of you, so, seriously, you can't get rid of...

Anyone else cross shop a Nissan Frontier vs Honda Ridgeline?

Love it!! I'll be curious what you think about seat comfort after owning it for a bit. Definitely circle back and let us know your top likes and dislikes!

    GM limits exposure to tariffs

Or people just don't like women in positions of authority in male-dominated industries. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyone else cross shop a Nissan Frontier vs Honda Ridgeline?

I'd see if you can do a longer than ordinary test. I recently had the Ridgeline as a test vehicle and drove it for three hours straight. The seat comfort thing didn't hit me until about an hour and half in. But if it does everything else you need/want (that in-bed storage is clutch), then there...

Tim and Jill's job just got harder

AI is creepy as shit. And the fact that it uses us to learn is creepier. I occasionally dig into AI to see what it will spit out at me, and it's often spitting out incorrect information. For those who don't know how to do their own research, they feed off the incorrect information and spread...

    DODGE recalls the EV Charger..

I thought there was plenty of muscle car spirit, and I actually felt the rumble. I also thought it was flashy. Maybe I'm a party of 1, but I liked it. Linked my review in another comment.

    DODGE recalls the EV Charger..

You can say "dumbest shit ever" after you've driven it. I actually really liked it. I thought it was fun to drive on a race track and really quiet and comfortable on road. It's not without quirks, but I don't believe it deserves your rancor. IMHO. Then haters gonna hate. 😉 In case anyone is...

American-Made Index 2025: How American is your truck?

I think it was more that the Jeep Gladiator had more parts sourced from the U.S. last year. Suppliers are always changing, and while assembly and workforce are probably the two biggest static measurements, where the engines and transmissions come from could affect list position.

American-Made Index 2025: How American is your truck?

I always geek out over this list because it's always such a shocker. At least Honda Ridgeline got knocked off the top spot this year ...

    Any Response?

My take: Someone got their feelings hurt because they aren't on the A-list. Welcome to the club. Not everyone gets invited to every event. And if you want to attend the so called "closed door meeting," then do your job better. This culture of entitlement drives me nuts. There are still events I...

    Update on the Tariff list.

Thanks for posting. I try to send them through from the back end when posting the article, but it doesn't always come through!

    When is the next livestream?

Good question. 😂 @testerdahl and I have both been a bit out of pocket lately. We will discuss and see when we can get back to the livestream.

Did you read the news of why electric pickups are failing?

I think the truck guy attitude is the biggest reason why full size truck EVs won't sell. I think they could work in midsize or compact trucks, but the full-size truck guy is just different. I understand why automakers wanted to start here (to make the most money), but it was certainly a tactical...
