    Secret car crush

Late 80's early 90's Ford Escort GT's. I was 10ish and remember always liking the looks of them when I was younger. I wouldn't buy one, but man I still think it's a good looking car. I also like the foxbody Mustangs of this era so it makes sense.

Toyota Tundra Engine Recall Grows Again! Automaker Admits Previous Fix Didn’t Work – Owners Patience Running Thin

Great video Tim. I've owned two Toyotas and have had great luck with one (09 Tacoma), not so great luck with the other (08 Prius.) What I can't wrap my head around is the head in the sand coming from the majority of comments I'm seeing out in the ether. Toyota was absolutely on a pedestal. In...

Second Toyota Tundra Engine Recall Postponed Again Because Company Incredibly Still Doesn’t Really Have a Fix After 4 Years

It's interesting though because this isn't the first time they've done this. After the growing pains they do tend to have a more reliable product, I can't disagree with that. I've always wondered if that's more of a product of not changing and offering a less advanced/optioned vehicle than the...

    2027 Super Duty Carhartt Edition

I'm pretty anti advertisement for anything, even brands I like. This is the first truck I've owned that I didn't debadge. I don't wear clothes with large advertisements or words or quotes. It's impossible to get away from the little Carhartt patch, or Columbia logo but in general I try to avoid...

Second Toyota Tundra Engine Recall Postponed Again Because Company Incredibly Still Doesn’t Really Have a Fix After 4 Years

That's good, I didn't necessarily mean from you, just in a general sense. I feel like Toyota has been straight up deceptive about the whole thing. They announce a fix, sales spike, then extend the recall. (discreetly change part numbers on various bearing parts) Then they announce another fix...

1997 Nissan pickup stock steel wheels

I love these old trucks. My son, 17, has a 2000 4x4 Ranger and my stepson, also 17, has a 2003 4x4 Frontier. Both great trucks and simple.

GM Defines “Normal” Oil Consumption for Trucks as Owners Say Huh? 1 Quart/2k Miles

I think, assume, it's always been the coyote at least that's what I've heard about.

New air filter from Rock Auto

Was it a pre-oiled filter like a k&n? If so every study I've seen says that pre-oiled filters like those actually do worse at trapping fine particles than a standard paper filter.

GM Defines “Normal” Oil Consumption for Trucks as Owners Say Huh? 1 Quart/2k Miles

I don't love it. My truck consumes a quart over approximately half the oil change cycle, it always has. I don't like that it consumes oil. I find it annoying that some trucks do, and some don't. I know Ford also has consumption issues, more so in the 5.0 than the ecoboost, but as far as I know...
