    2025 Ford Expedition

Hmm, that's too bad. The tremor is nice but I wouldn't want all the yellow/orange all over it. It's a bit much, looks ok on a truck not so great on a large SUV.

    2025 Ford Expedition

The changes are really cool and I love the new exterior lines. The wheel tire combo on the platinum is gross looking but I get what they're going for. Do you know if the Temor replaces the Timberline or is it in addition to? My family is now 13, 14 in Nov, 15 and 16. We still rock the Expedition...

    2025 Ford Expedition

We love our 2020 Expedition Max but did have to have both front and rear differentials rebuilt around 70k miles. The interior layout and seating is just much better than the similar year(s) Suburban or Yukon XL. Excited to see what they've done with it.

Your new truck must have a V8? Do engine cylinders even matter anymore?

I wasn't questioning it until all of the comparisons between the third gen Tacoma started coming out. It's significantly better across the board but people started to notice that none of the dynos show peak torque anywhere near 1700 RPM.

Your new truck must have a V8? Do engine cylinders even matter anymore?

I haven't dug deep on this but the 317 @ 1700 is starting to look a little iffy. Every dyno I've seen puts that peak number closer to 3500-4k RPM. Can you find one that shows max torque available at 1700...

    2024 Q3 Sales

My first two full-size trucks were Dodge Rams. 1999 & 2001. I was young and couldn't afford a Ford or a Chevy/GMC and actually liked the looks of the Dodge's at the time. I had major issues with both, transmissions and differentials, and went Toyota for the next 10+ years. I've never owned a...

    Tinkerer's Adventure - New Toyotas

He only puts out videos every few months. I don't think he's trying to make a living off of YouTube at all. Also, I think the point he's trying to make is from an engineering standpoint and showing cost cutting measures in new Toyota vehicles. His other vehicles have also been used. I beleive...

    2024 Q3 Sales

That's one way to say it. The other way to say it is that Stellantis forced the price of Jeep and RAM so high they seriously outpaced their core customers ability to afford the product. They tried to go from a discount brand to a luxury priced brand overnight. At the same time, Ford released...

The truth about 2024 Tacoma transmissions failing

That's why the 4Runner and Land Cruiser can be built in Japan and imported to the US. The Chicken Tax only applies to light pickups with an open bed. Subaru put backseats and seat belts in the Brat to get around the tax. I know you know this, but others may not.

The truth about 2024 Tacoma transmissions failing

Wouldn't Toyota have chosen the supplier, type, coating and overall design regardless of who the supplier was?

The truth about 2024 Tacoma transmissions failing

I think that's just frustrated/disappointed owner talk. I would have to read back through his original thread but I believe he couldn't get the manual transmission replaced after 4 months. He was one of the first to see a transmission issue back when it was thought to just be the manual having...

The truth about 2024 Tacoma transmissions failing

One of the original '24 MT Tacoma owners with transmission issues just lemon lawed his truck after waiting more than 4+ months for a fix that never came from Toyota. He went to the Ranger Raptor. I hope they can deal with the automatic issues quicker...

    Tinkerer's Adventure - New Toyotas

I've shared a few of his videos here this is his most recent. He's a Toyota fan and builds over landing and technical off-road vehicles. I've seen quite a few posts on here about guys looking for cheap trucks, this fits. He's a very well respected mechanical engineer, and has a way of making...

Advice Needed on Intake Manifold Issues Considering a Solution

Just googling around a bit there does seem to be some issues with the 6.7 cummins and intake specifically. I don't know jack about diesels but a lot of guys are talking about plugged up EGR's that can cause all of the issues your experiencing. Also, Banks has a couple of articles on how terrible...

Is there any way to get the sales numbers of the heavy duty pickups?

I don't believe Ford publically disclose those number from what I've seen, they want to bunch them all together so they can keep making those ads about "Ford F series, the best selling truck for 237 years!" Here's Tim's 2nd qtr report...

New photos of the 2025 Ram HD

I wasn't sure because I don't spend a lot of time looking but I agree 100%. The 3/4 ton Ram was one of the best looking trucks on the road, at least it's only minor changes I guess. The split head light though looks weird especially in the red color, I imagine any bright color will be. The...
