The 2026 Toyota Tundra has been updated and it addresses some of the criticisms of the full-size truck while leaving other issues unchanged. 2026 Toyota Tundra Capstone updated The first big change is in the luxury-trim 2026 Toyota Tundra Capstone trim level. Yep. I said it when everyone made a big deal about it back in 2022. My Ram "Sport" has none and it could not be optioned with them whatsoever. The front fascia has no openings to even mount them through. I would have needed to take a reciprocating saw to it.
 
No tow hooks is a sign that they don't make trucks for actual work, the new Toyota way.
As to Toyota and Kaizen I think those two have divorced and are fighting over who gets the kids on holidays.
 
I don't mind certain trims of trucks not having front tow hooks... but to make a TRD Off-Road, or a TRD Pro and not have them? Big miss. Not quite as big of a miss as not making the fancy seats an option on the Tacoma Pro. It's the first 4 door, 4 seat, 2 seater I've seen.
