Diesel doomsday

It's really going to take more technology than DEF to extend diesel's life in smaller engines. It's kinda like trying to keep using coal.

I'd say we are at a crossroads with diesel here in the U.S. There are plenty of people who simply want to delete all their emissions equipment including catalytic convertors. And there is another side that wants to get rid of them completely.

I certainly don't want to go back the 1970s-1990s air quality, but I also don't like the idea of reliability concerns surrounding the emissions equipment.
