So I read Toyota just announced another recall on 22+ Tundra’s, and now the new Lexus GX’s, for their less than stellar twin turbo v6’s imploding. This time extending their prior recall through the 23 and and into the 24 model year. Yikes! No remedy announced at this time. The credibility of their “machine cleaning/debris” failire reason is getting stretched awfully thin, nearly as thin at the Tundra’s 0w-20 oil, as you might be wondering why you didn’t get that process corrected before another 127k engines were affected. You would also be wise to question if all the engine produced to date are affected and decide to steer clear of Tundra’s until the next, next gen.

Toyota Recalls Another 127,000 Tundras and Lexus SUVs Over Self-Destructing Turbo V6s
Just like with the last recall that has Toyota replacing more than 100,000 V6s, machining debris could potentially be found inside the engines.
