Working on a pretty big story and more details coming. I currently have 3 owners. One guy bought an $70k+ truck and a collision shop said he had $40k in rust damage with 10 miles on the truck. Anyone with a rusted F-150 please reach out.

Reminds me of the 21 F-150 I had with rust. I guess things haven’t changed.

I still can't wrap my head around that one from Consumer Reports.
Remember, they get the results from surveys of owners. All they do is tally the numbers. I just find it hard to believe there are so many Ford owners happy with the quality. But then again, Ford owners are some of the most stubborn I have ever come across. My cousin had one that burned oil, excessively, that they wouldn't fix so he traded it in for a new one. That one gave him lots of issues with the electronics so traded it in for another one but with less electronics.

I think you nailed it. Everyone's perception of quality and issues varies. I remember one time Toyota did a focus group of other brand owners to learn what they liked about their trucks. Their top engineers were there. One lady said her old Dodge was the most reliable truck she's ever had. She had only gone through three transmissions. The Toyota engineers about fell out of their chairs.

That is funny and so common. The problem with surveys, perspective. If you have had the same vehicle/brand for 20 years, your perspective is jaded. You really cannot compare it to anything else.
