Saw that this morning. Did you see the crap-ton lengthy list of more Ford recalls today? Nine more from the Maverick to the F250. What is going on over there? Damn, that just looks terrible.

Unfortunately, it's been terrible for a few years now. Shockingly bad. Purely based on recalls my dad's garage has gone from Explorer, F150 to Sierra and yet to be determined GM SUV..either Yukon or Acadia I think.

He's a looooong term Ford guy.
Yup, I'm jumping ship as well. My truck was at the dealership for a combine 5 weeks last year and I can't have this much downtime. Ford is not showing any side of improvement even after all the quality talk the past couple;e of years.

Why is it so hard for Ford to not screw this stuff up?

If its like many of the Kaizens I've been part of as long as it looks good on paper leadership is happy, and rarely does anyone ever bother to validate the kaizen plan is delivering what was promised.

Gotta have that accountability and discipline or the process is useless!

If it's like many of the other ones, blame is shifted to the suppliers. Easy fall guys.
