Great choice. I've had my AT4 3.0L Duramax for just over a month and couldn't be happier with the choice.

Sounds like a Greg Maddux worthy change-up; any particular reason for going any from a road performance biased truck to one with an off-road bent and a diesel to boot?

Congratulations!

I can't speak for the 3.0 diesel but my GMC AT4 is the best truck I've ever owned. The quality and ride is hands down the best in any of the 20-22 trucks that I spent significant seat time in, which was all of them lol. Plus it has plenty of off-road capability which keeps me happy.

Edit to clarify: I owned a second gen Tacoma that I put right at 200,000 mi on that was the most reliable truck I've ever owned and I miss it still occasionally. But I had to go to a full size and so far my GMC has been just as reliable but has every creature comfort that the Tacoma still in 2024 just doesn't offer.

I need full time or auto 4wd for the snow. The diesel gets high 20s for mpg
