Lead Frame Replacement - 6.2L Engine

Hi,

EDIT: Going to cross post this on the Super Duty forum as well.

My son bought a used 2013 F-150 Platinum with the 6.2 liter engine and 84k miles on July 31st. We had driven 4+ hours down to Maryland to get it and within a week of driving it, the check engine light was on and the vehicle downshifted from 6th to 1st on the highway. We brought it in to my local shop the next morning and was told Ford had extended the warranty on the lead frame due to numerous failures so we were fortunate enough to have it repaired at the local Ford dealer free of charge.

I drove it the truck yesterday and still notice that there is a shudder when it is in drive at a stop light and you let go of the brake. I'm hoping there is no issue with the transmission and I wonder if the problem is related to the lead frame.

Just wondering if any F-150 or Super Duty owners could provide any feedback.

Thanks,
Eric
