Disclosure: I know it seems like I'm picking on Jill, but it's light teasing and I do respect her and all the work she does here. I just want her to get a pickup for fun and great story fodder.
Tim gets all the cool trucks for long term testing and why not, It his channel. But Jill should also get in on the fun. I know she doesn't have the room in the garage for a long-term tester, but that's more of an opportunity than a hinderance. In fact, there are so many opportunities here, so without further ado, I present my suggestion for Jill's long-term tester.
Just look at this beauty! It's perfect for Chicago! Solid. Economical, and Low Mileage. It has Apple Car Play which Jill LOVES as well as backup camera and lane departure warning.
The bad news is that it's an automatic, which she hates, but it would be a "company truck" so she wouldn't be breaking her vow of Only Manuals. This is offset by the glorious 3.3 liter V-6 which is rated for 19mpg city.
And look at that interior!
Cloth seats to keep away the cold in winter and broiling heat of summer. Power windows and locks! It's fancy and practical. The inside color will hide any grime that can't be vacuumed up and be comfortable.
A pickup like this would be such a boon for her creativity. Besides the tests of fuel efficiency, there are so many questions to be answered:

And it's a decent price! Viewers constantly complain about the high price of pickup trucks but here is a low mileage honest truck for $25,998. Is the price worth it. There's only one way to find out.
Plus look at the other benefit. Once Jill is done with her long-term reviews, Tim can gift this truck to his son as his first vehicle. Just imagine the look on his face when he sees this truck in all its glory and with its added patina of the Chicago outdoor life. (If Jill is willing to let this peach go.)
