Harbor freight 4 for 1 deal

Funny story from Harbor Freight during the covid hysteria,
I ordered a Harbor Freight buffer online and for some reason they sent me four of them when I ordered one and only charged me for one, when the box got to me I picked it up off the porch and it weighed about 50 pounds and my first thought was how the hell am I going to buff my Chevy c10 when the buffer weighs fifty pounds until I opened the box and found four of them inside.
Fast forward I emailed them and told them what happened and even called them to return the exta three but they never got back to me and they are still sitting in the shop in the box.
I have a feeling there was a new shipping department employee that assumed that each case contained one buffer and just slapped a shipping lable on a case of four and shipped it out.

It costs HF more to bring them back into their inventory than the items are worth to them.

Someone on r/harborfreight recently posted about receiving two 34" tool chests but only having ordered one. I guess that shipping department employee is still on staff.

Wow, it seems like some serious shipping mix ups were happening over at Harbor Freight! I wonder if the shipping department was just super short staffed or something. At least folks were scoring some good deals thanks to the mistakes.
