GM limits exposure to tariffs

It seems to me, ever since Mary Barra got the job at GM, there's been a lot of hate sent her way. I don't get it myself. I mean, GM has consistently posted a profit, grown its business and navigated through many different disasters with her at the helm.

A bit of a back story, when she got the job, I had to ban certain derogatory words because every comment was her, let's just say, anatomy. People still hate on her in the comments. I guess people just hate on people in charge.

I don't get it either. She gobbles up market share and shits out profit. The GMC brand specifically has had large gains.

Or people just don't like women in positions of authority in male-dominated industries. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s always disheartening to see comments that put women down simply because of their gender, as if it’s still a “man’s world.” I believe in equality; gender should never determine someone’s worth or capability. The most qualified person should be chosen for the job, regardless of gender. As a father of two girls, this hits even closer to home. No one should feel the need to diminish another based on gender, and if they do, the problem lies with them, not with the person they’re targeting.
