FYI some Ford news today. I think Jill and I are both worn out to write it up.

For me, I can't wait until I see a hundred different YouTube thumbnails suggesting Ford is going bankrupt because they can't sell the Lightning. (snickers...)

 
People don't want to buy the Lightning for many reasons, dealers cant sell them, and they were basically forced to take them along with the Mach-E, this is simply the free market saying NO, Ford got caught up in government stupidity and now their paying for it along with other OEM's, I can see major CEO changes coming to Ford, Stellantis and perhaps GM. Automotive is in a complete mess right now, you have loons in government making ridiculous mandates, and the people suffer.

China makes the best EV"s. Will China do what the Japanese auto manufacturers did to the NA market ,in the 70"s ? Up to our politicians i guess .
 
The biggest problem EVs have created for the traditional OEMs is taking capital and finite talent away from their profitable ICE efforts. Do you think problems in producing and delivering F-150s, Coly/Can, Ranger and Tacoma would happen if the resources diverted to EV development/production and buying EV credits from Tesla were available? Toyota only now just finished its Tacoma engine line in Huntsville:
