All Quiet on the Ramcharger Front?

I have to say, one of the most interesting vehicles coming up is the new Ramcharger. Ok the SST in the new RAM is kinda interesting. But you can buy a Straight Six Turbo in quite a few other vehicles. I currently drive a 2022 Merc GLS 450 as a company car, and it has a Turbo Straight Six...

    Gotta Getta Lightning

Will do. I'll be using it primarily for a 78 mile commute, and every second week a 200 mile commute to alternative office. Between and on weekends, will do truck-stuff - hauling, etc. Not much towing to be honest. The Lightning's most severe limitation as far as I can see is towing. So I...

    2024 Ford F-150s piling up, Lightning stop-sale

I'm going to get a Lightning Platinum as soon as I can.

    Gotta Getta Lightning

Just picked up our Mustang Mach-e Rally. And based on our experience so far, with the car, and with Blue Cruise, I'm thinking about pushing for an F-150 Lightning Platinum for my next company car when this ridiculous Merc is up in April. LOVE the Ford EV experience!

Buy a different Ram truck for me?

Ha! Some of us around here can probably help with the good whiskey. Just get yourself the right truck.

1 truck the next 10 years?

    Drooool!

Ford? are they really in trouble??

A few years back this used to be normal. I think it was good for Ford to split the EV business into it's own "money-losing-startup" entity, which probably protects the core business a bit.

1 truck the next 10 years?

F-150 Raptor - not the "R". Had one for 2 years, and traded it for an Explorer ST when we had to downsize. If I can't fit the Raptor in my life again, I'll hold onto this Explorer ST for 10 years happily. I believe Ford knocked it out of the park with this vehicle. Doesn't get enough...

Thinking about buying a 2025 Ram - Hurricane or Ramcharger

I'd vote for the Ramcharger. The hurricane isn't even the first or only turbo straight six out there that you can buy today. At least the Ramcharger is somewhat unique. To the other comments though - not sure if it would generate the most views. Tough to say.

Congrats on Your New Ram Tim

Just need a few close calls with deer on the road (or actually hit one) and you appreciate how much high beams actually help.

Ford Lightning Switchgear - "Not and Electric Raptor"

https://www.edmunds.com/car-news/ford-f-150-lightning-raptor-switchgear-concept.html I wonder what happens to the range?

Are you interested in a 4XE Gladiator?

Oooh - a 4xE Dakota with a hybrid version of the straight six. Mmmmmm....

Do you even like the TFL guys?

I only ever found out Tim existed because Andre mentioned him a few times quite positively on TFL.

    Sierra EV Denali

Gotta say, this is one tempting truck. I haven't given GM a second look for well over 20 years - not one thing that interested me there at all. But this one is doing the trick. I hope they finally manage to figure out their Ultium platform and get this one out the door in quantity.

Are you interested in a 4XE Gladiator?

Definitely interested in the 4xE Gladiator. For complicated reasons I regulary drive back and forth between Allentown and Toronto (about a 7 hour drive one way) and every now and then I rent a vehicle (again, complicated reasons) for the drive. Always try to rent trucks, and fall back to SUVs...

Regular Listener - Former Raptor Owner

Hello All, Tim, Jill, Been listening to your podcast for a year or two now, discovered you via TFL - Andre mentioned Tim a few times. Former owner of a 2018 F-150 Raptor, called "Blue" (get it?) and had to downsize when we moved, so instead now drive an Explorer ST called "Little Blue"...
