Questions about my new Big Horn Night Edition: E-Locker axle? Flashing lights on steering wheel... Hot engine compartment hours after shut off, & more

It's odd how it was on the Monroney but no price next to it. Almost like it was just a typo.

Questions about my new Big Horn Night Edition: E-Locker axle? Flashing lights on steering wheel... Hot engine compartment hours after shut off, & more

It would be on the top-front of the diff. The back is just the removable cover. Here is a pic of a rearend with the e-locker.

GM, Ford Applaud Trump 25% Medium-, Heavy-Duty Truck Tariff Blast Ram Trucks Waiver Appeal

Hard to argue much about it. Generally, our economy grew. But would it have grown more without it? No one can really answer. Just like now, hard to predict the future other than watch leading indicators of trouble.

Questions about my new Big Horn Night Edition: E-Locker axle? Flashing lights on steering wheel... Hot engine compartment hours after shut off, & more

How about this: Crawl under the truck and look for any wiring harness going into the rear diff. No wire? No e-locker.....

‘Diesel Brothers’ Heavy D Claims Victory, Released From Jail – the Whole Story

To me it's one of those things....it's law on the books so if one wants to take it to civil court they can, even if the law doesn't want to prosecute or finds the plaintiff not-guilty. Pretty much the same for any of those "wrongful death" suits like OJs. Or going after a dealership if you get...

lol...."national security". That's a stretch... Well, the original is called the "Chicken Tax", what will this one be called?

Are New Trucks Built to Fail? Planned Obsolescence Examined

That crap would turn into the HP and towing numbers. "At 25.5 years, the Ford F150 is the longest lasting truck on the market!"

How many videos do you watch a day?

Varies greatly but I mostly watch YT for research, less for entertainment. I tend to watch shorts the most for entertainment, long format for info. And the shorts are not from info type providers like Tim's or TFL. Those seem to be more of a preview for a long format video.

EV Credit Ending Could Disrupt EV Industry Growth, Costs Jobs, Raise Taxes Says Experts

lol...the last thing I think of as "unfair" about rich vs everyone else is EV subsidies. They're still going to be the biggest buyers because they already are the only ones who can afford them.

Ram Electric Truck DEAD – Long Live Ram RamCharger Now Ram REV

Figured this would be official since they put it on hiatus, what, last year? Too bad about the name change on the Ramcharger, that one was kinda cool. The REV just don't cut it. I can hear it now, "Ram EV? But it's not an EV! It's an Extended Range EV!". Which means it could be worse, it could...

    Uhhh..new 2026 Ram Limited. 897lbs of payload.

Yep, that about sums it up. Sadly, I couldn't even load my ATV in that thing. Both of my ATVs weigh +930lbs. Not that I could afford a "Limited" anything, because, well, my income is limited....

Cyberstuck: The Unbelievably Dumb Things That Will Stop Teslas’s Cybertruck

Yep. In the Tesla offices, no one had an actual office. They said it was so everyone could hear what everyone else was working on and provide input if they could help. That was about 8-10 years ago in Palo Alto, so I have no idea what they are doing now in TX.

Cyberstuck: The Unbelievably Dumb Things That Will Stop Teslas’s Cybertruck

Without a doubt a great innovator. Just like his brother-of-another mother Bezos. I worked quite a bit with both Tesla and Space X. Good company and good people. But almost every time Elon's name came up in private settings, they often rolled their eyes and said "uh, yeah, sure". I always found...

Does anyone else ... not care about the Hemi return?

Sure, but the modern Pentastar is damn close to the old 4.7L V8 in that regard so plenty of HP/TQ for me.
