I don’t think reporting on the tundra press release objectively makes Tim a shill by any stretch of the imagination. He’s an automotive journalist covering the facts of the updated Tundra. Rehashing the engine fiasco in every story mostly read by people who know all about it, isn’t adding much...

On the flip side, I regularly see law enforcement social media extolling the virtuous role flock cameras had in solving local crimes. As with any technology, it comes with tradeoffs. I'm personally not a fan of how flock reduces privacy of the common citizen just going about their business.

Yes, that’s right it’s a Toyota v6 from the generation when they built engines to last, rather than to please regulators. It’s just been supercharged by Lotus. The sound at 4k+ revs is thrilling. So far 2400 miles and it’s been perfect. Very un-Lotus like.

Ford may have made the engine more durable, but the 10 speed transmission and all of the hvac and software problems and glitches still make an f150 a questionable purchase for many.

I read that story and it’s summed up as Ford wants to blame AI rather than take responsibility for all their problematic engineering while taking a victory lap for JD Power…which is a nonsensical survey in my opinion. The fact is, other makes may have just gotten worse rather than ford improved...

Agree with above. Sad that they come up with these ideas that very few people can afford these days. At least the 4k tremor package on my 350 added meaningful components and capability.

Yes, I want one too…and yet, I put an oem front air dam on my trd off road Tacoma and it’s netted me +2.5mpg….I think wanting good mpg and wanting big v8 power just aren’t mutually exclusive thoughts in my mind. I’m ok with the dissonance.

And yet, every time I check FB Tundra feed it’s always someone asking about buying a tundra who hasn’t heard of the problem or someone with Christmas lights for a dashboard on a tundra they bought a few months back asking the group if they know what could have happened. Keep getting the word out….

Dang, nobody can build a reliable, largely issue free truck anymore. All these trucks were designed to meet cafe/emission standards and now they are all trash. Toyota, Ford, GM, Dodge…every one is less reliable and more glitchy than its predecessor. I’m seriously on the verge of picking up a 26...

3 or so weeks ago, after deliberating about how doing things while you are able to physically do things as you age, I decided I have one more fun sporty car in me. So I sold the LandCruiser for this and all I can say is ….worth it.

Happier all the time I walked away from my 23 tundra. I’m running 2 vehicles with their new turbo 4. Hoping it’s a good one but wont really know for a long time. My daughter has 46k miles on her 24 taco. No issues.
