It’s some sort of felt. My tundra has it in the front as well. I have given up cleaning it, I just spray it for a bit and then move on.

That was an awesome interview. We share a lot of the same problems here in Canada and it’s frustrating for those owners. You know it’s been cold when you see diesel trucks on flatbed, all getting towed to get warmed up or fixed.

Those are nice!! We still have 2 running. Original engine and transmission. They have been living in the woods permanently for at least 20 years and were never garage kept.

It would have to be head and shoulder above everything else on the market to have a chance. Or dirt cheap.

I looked at installing factory tow mirrors on my 2022 tundra since I bought it used and it was impossible to find one with the tow mirrors. It was $6000. $3000 for the mirrors and wiring, another $3000 for the labour since you need to install a bunch of new switches and electronics in the truck...

Have you tried one of those gel cushion as a start? That’s what my dad did for his F250 Tremor XLT. He replaces it every year and it costs him 10$.

They will sell so much of these. It looks like a solid upgrade from an already solid product.

Here’s a video of the turbo max towing near it’s limit. Can it do it? Yes, but I would not want to do it often. If you tow lighter or with a trailer that has a smaller frontal area, the engine will be just fine.

I still get what the sticker says on the highway with bigger tires and a bunch of mod with my Tundra. Not so much around town. I used to get much better than the sticker before all the mods. My Ranger easily beat it’s sticker pretty much no matter what the conditions were except during frigid...

No EGR is actually a big deal. First time hearing about a modern e fine with no EGR.

Good! The engine feels weaker than what the number suggested some I'm happy it's getting a bump in power. Otherwise it's a pretty nice engine and you can get some pretty decent fuel mileage when cruising around.
