These Top New Trucks and SUVs Like Toyota Tacoma Aren’t Selling, According to Study

Price price price to value ratio. All those are optimistally priced and while cool, don’t really offer a good value. Note it’s the Tacoma hybrid, which is incredibly overpriced. I got 5-7200 off msrp last year on 24 tacomas. Deals are out there to be had.

Improved Toyota Tundra Scores Help Toyota Reclaims Consumer Reports Reliability Crown, Despite Engine Failure Recalls

I owned 2 new gen tundras. A Feb 22 build and an April 23 build. When the engine issues news got out, so did I. I’d love another tundra, but won’t go back for obvious reasons until there’s a definitive demarcation between the failed/failing/will soon fail engines and some new version or new...

    Tundra V6 Recall Again?

I don’t know of any issue with the Tacoma’s engine at scale. We’re certainly happy with the 2 2024 Tacoma’s in my family.

    Tundra V6 Recall Again?

Yes, and the takeaway is …..new V8. If that doesn’t happen the tundra will languish. I also want one in my Tacoma and LandCruiser because…..

    Tundra V6 Recall Again?

Internet conjecture, nobody who really knows anything is talking. I saw the Tundras.com website go hundreds to thousands(?) of posts deep on this and still, this recall was a surprise. Everyone thought toyota had addressed it, whether they believed the “cleaning debris” excuse or not. Now we...

    Tundra V6 Recall Again?

Dealers are at least somewhat complicit, but I doubt they have any choice.

    Tundra V6 Recall Again?

So I read Toyota just announced another recall on 22+ Tundra’s, and now the new Lexus GX’s, for their less than stellar twin turbo v6’s imploding. This time extending their prior recall through the 23 and and into the 24 model year. Yikes! No remedy announced at this time. The credibility of...

New Ram Midsize Truck Production to Ohio, New Jeeps for Illinois – Record $13 Billion Invested in U.S.

A midsized version of an unreliable pickup? I’ll pass. Perfectly happy with my Tacoma and it's normal, 6’ long bed.

    2025 Ford F-250 Platinum: Luxury at a $100k Price

Pickup prices are out of control and unrealistic. MSRP’s (manufacturer suggested ripoff price) are optimistic at best in this economy. I’d be surprised if these don’t end up being heavily discounted to move. My local ford dealer sends me their “price lowered” ads all the time because they don’t...

2020-2021 Ford Super Duty Recall: 115k Steering Column Defect, Loss of Steering

In the vein of Ben Hardy, my Ford F250 is a failed turd and I’m going to have to get rid of it. The battery died yesterday after 35 months. Pure garbage. Ford did replace it with a new one and it’s working perfectly fine, but I need some manufactured crisis and drama for my next video. :)

Do you ever just go for a drive in your truck?

Life and love means having to deal with loss along the way. Nothing makes it easier, but kind thoughts and words make it more bearable. I’m glad to be part of such an empathetic and kind web community.

    About those screens.....

I completely agree. From CarPlay Map I have 4 or 5 screen “clicks” to change the radio station. Used to be 1 button or a twist of a scroll wheel. I’m trying to use voice commands and it’s not confidence inspiring because it understands “tune to AMXXX” one out of 3 times or so.

    About those screens.....

Planned obsolescence at best…expensive headache down the road at the worst. Wish there were analog options but it’s not likely to go the backwards until everyone is fed up with failing, expensive, screens. Button situation is similar and It’s one reason why i chose a Land Cruiser over the GX550.

2024 Tacoma TRD Off Road 10 months. Long paid off. 7k miles.

    Uhhh..new 2026 Ram Limited. 897lbs of payload.

Split the difference, get the 3/4 ton, but air down the tires until you need max payload/towing. Run the tires at 55-60 and your teeth will be very happy.

Does anyone else ... not care about the Hemi return?

I’m not a Dodge fan. I have too many friends who’ve been stranded by their RAM in all forms. Most never went back after their experiences. That said, the RAM market is broader than my handful of friends so I’m sure many people enjoyed their experiences and are brand loyal. I like that any v8 is...

    Uhhh..new 2026 Ram Limited. 897lbs of payload.

My 23 tundra limited’s payload was around 1400 lbs. Definitely disappointing for a full size truck that should be able to carry a family, their gear and the tongue weight of a 9k trailer.
