    2027 Super Duty Carhartt Edition

Agree with above. Sad that they come up with these ideas that very few people can afford these days. At least the 4k tremor package on my 350 added meaningful components and capability.

Gas Prices Are High, Yet Truck Buyers Want V8 Engines Says Ford CEO

Yes, I want one too…and yet, I put an oem front air dam on my trd off road Tacoma and it’s netted me +2.5mpg….I think wanting good mpg and wanting big v8 power just aren’t mutually exclusive thoughts in my mind. I’m ok with the dissonance.

Second Toyota Tundra Engine Recall Postponed Again Because Company Incredibly Still Doesn’t Really Have a Fix After 4 Years

And yet, every time I check FB Tundra feed it’s always someone asking about buying a tundra who hasn’t heard of the problem or someone with Christmas lights for a dashboard on a tundra they bought a few months back asking the group if they know what could have happened. Keep getting the word out….

GM Defines “Normal” Oil Consumption for Trucks as Owners Say Huh? 1 Quart/2k Miles

Dang, nobody can build a reliable, largely issue free truck anymore. All these trucks were designed to meet cafe/emission standards and now they are all trash. Toyota, Ford, GM, Dodge…every one is less reliable and more glitchy than its predecessor. I’m seriously on the verge of picking up a 26...

Second Toyota Tundra Engine Recall Postponed Again Because Company Incredibly Still Doesn’t Really Have a Fix After 4 Years

It’s really sad to see Toyota stuck in this quagmire of their own making. They have to make it right without replacing engines forever. I think a prorated buyback is in order. [your mileage]% of 200k miles = buyback value of what you paid or some formula that favors the buyer.

Recently picked up something more fun than a suv or pickup

3 or so weeks ago, after deliberating about how doing things while you are able to physically do things as you age, I decided I have one more fun sporty car in me. So I sold the LandCruiser for this and all I can say is ….worth it.

GM 6.2L V8 Engine Issues Worsen: Post Remedy Engine Failures Lead to ODI Recall Query

Happier all the time I walked away from my 23 tundra. I’m running 2 vehicles with their new turbo 4. Hoping it’s a good one but wont really know for a long time. My daughter has 46k miles on her 24 taco. No issues.

Automatic Car Washes Yeah or Nay for your Truck?

I don’t mind a normal car wash. Dealers run my vehicle through it all the time and I never had any damage I could find. I’m the guy with a clean towel to finish drying off my vehicles when they come out of the dealers wash tunnel.

Why is Toyota Tundra Engine Failure Debris Cleaning Not Done At Casting Plant? Two Plants Get It Wrong?

Yes, I tend to agree with you, however, Toyota needs to be transparent about when and what they fixed, otherwise many will hold back due to lack of confidence in the tundra.

CONSUMER REPORTS LEAST RELIABLE FULL-SIZE TRUCKS FOR 2026

Good advice for sure. Note that my 3rd vehicle is a 22 F350 Tremor with the 7.3 gasser, so definitely not afraid of full+ size, I just want to avoid all the pandemic design, manufacturing, and other issues across the full size spectrum. Always change oil by 1k, then 5k, and every 5k afterwards...

Second Toyota Tundra Engine Failure Recall Issued Due to Thousands of Failures: Two Fixes Confirmed

I woundn’t say inexplicable, it was a forced move by the US govt. All manufacturers went this direction, and many cheated emissions in one way or another. It should be apparent that it’s incredibly difficult to design and manufacture a fuel efficient gasoline engine that makes V8 power and is...

CONSUMER REPORTS LEAST RELIABLE FULL-SIZE TRUCKS FOR 2026

Everyone I know with a dodge ram, whether 1500 or 2500 had serious problems with them. I steer clear. That said, since 2021, they’ve all gotten worse. Ford’s new F150 still has the same issues in 26 as it did when it launched in 21. I’d love a new F150 with the 5-OH, but just don’t trust the...

Why is Toyota Tundra Engine Failure Debris Cleaning Not Done At Casting Plant? Two Plants Get It Wrong?

The ongoing question remains, is any 22+ Tundra safe? Until we get a new engine or a “fixed on xx/xx/xx” with real details on what and how they fixed, you can’t trust the new tundra or Toyota.

These Top New Trucks and SUVs Like Toyota Tacoma Aren’t Selling, According to Study

I saw a GMC Sierra in a desert tan yesterday at the Costco that caught my attention. I’ve seen it in other colors but that tan looked amazing.

Noted and appreciate the heads up. Before I buy a 4th Tacoma, I’ll take a look at the GMC. ;)

These Top New Trucks and SUVs Like Toyota Tacoma Aren’t Selling, According to Study

I see both as one and the same, GMC/Chevy. I completely agree with you that MSRP is overpriced, but actual selling prices are much lower because most people wont pay msrp. For example, I bought my 55,200 spec Tacoma for 48000. It’s worth 48k to me for the TRD off road premium long bed with...

These Top New Trucks and SUVs Like Toyota Tacoma Aren’t Selling, According to Study

I drove everything else and bought the taco. Ranger is bland, Colorado trail boss is equipped like the trail minion, the frontier seemed decent but the seating position was poor and didn’t have an adjustable steering wheel. True story, I’ve actually bought several and each time i reevaluated and...
