2027 Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2 Spied: Finally a Raptor, RHO Fighter Riding on 35s?

I love the G80 and would choose it over an e-locker but I'm a fan of options and would like to see the option to add the lockers to more trucks.

Do you ever just go for a drive in your truck?

I do it all the time, it's my getaway. Clear my head and ponder life's issues and wonder. I also have the best conversation with my kids going for a drive. They open up more.

    About those screens.....

When I bought in 2021 I wanted all of the creature comforts but didn't like the huge vertical screens in the RAM. Mine is 8 something and plenty, I do like the horizontal screens in GM way more the the vertical beasts in Ford and RAM.

EV Credit Ending Could Disrupt EV Industry Growth, Costs Jobs, Raise Taxes Says Experts

I'm not quite sure of your point, we're talking about the EV subsidy specifically here...In the EV subsidy going away truck thread.

EV Credit Ending Could Disrupt EV Industry Growth, Costs Jobs, Raise Taxes Says Experts

They probably do, but they're also not propping up the whole thing on the back of their tax dollars. Lots of people work in jobs creating things they can't afford, but they're not actively paying for it so wealthy people can.

EV Credit Ending Could Disrupt EV Industry Growth, Costs Jobs, Raise Taxes Says Experts

I get it, there's a long list, I just never liked this one from the beginning. Especially because middle income people typically can't utilize the (full) credit anyway. A subsidy for a product very few people want and only the wealthy can afford, paid for by everyone. Never made any sense to me...

Glad to see middle and lower income households no longer subsidizing the wealthy and their vehicles.

lol, I got lost in the first two sentences Tim. When Saddle Tramp works up that string chart, shoot me a pic. If we can somehow make it color by number I'll have my daughter do the work for me.

    Uhhh..new 2026 Ram Limited. 897lbs of payload.

Good video for sure. Yeah but the story is the other loaded highest trim trucks are all rocking several hundred pounds more of payload. I need to go look at the build sheet but usually when you pick a platinum or a limited there's not a whole hell of a lot more options to add on.

Cyberstuck: The Unbelievably Dumb Things That Will Stop Teslas’s Cybertruck

That doesn't surprise me too much, his work ethic and working demands especially early on at companies is pretty intense and well documented.

I feel like the ride in even unladen 3/4 tons has come so far in the last decade. Both my dad's GMC 2500 and my buddies F250 definitely are stiffer but I'm surprised at how much closer it is to the ride of a half ton versus 3/4 tons of the past.

Cyberstuck: The Unbelievably Dumb Things That Will Stop Teslas’s Cybertruck

I can't get hi-speed internet at my house, even though I'm only about 35 miles away from Seattle. Luckily, Starlink gives it to me at a better price than I was paying before for 25mb dsl that use to require constant hardware resets. I could talk about Space X and what they've achieved, or that...

Might be some overlanding SUVs, specifically Toyotas and Jeeps, that give that a run for the money, lol.

    Uhhh..new 2026 Ram Limited. 897lbs of payload.

I don't think the air suspension should affect it at all other than a pure weight of the components vs. leafs etc. Payload is just a GVWR - Curb Weight equation. What's left is payload. So unless those components weigh significantly more than standard leafs, it shouldn't matter. Air suspension...
