Best Truck Towing Mirrors of 2026: Which Ones Don’t SUCK?

A lot of times it's the wirings and controls, not the fitment. If the truck wasn't setup for the heated power adjustable it doesn't matter if the part would bolt on. I've heard this when trying to go from a lower trim to the mirrors that come on a higher trim.

    What did you do today?

That sucks, plenty of water out here, our burn bans don't typically start til July. I need to reclaim some of my yard. I take what falls and cut a few per year but I need to push it back hard this year.

    Stellantis Hurricane 4!

This one, the GM lifters, is so overblown. If you look around you can find plenty of videos with people who have disabled the AFM and still have a lifter issue so we know there's not a direct correlation. If could be that the type of lifter used to allow AFM/DFM is an issue but it's not the...

My pull it out of my ass prediction...13 combined MPG. Real world, the TRD Pro trucks already don't get what the sticker says.

Is the Ram 1500 Hurricane Engine Reliable?

The trucks will work that engine much more than the SUV's it was in. Time will tell if it's reliable, too early to ask imo.

    Cybertruck selling?

I do or am seeing more Cybertrucks around. They're ugly and I wish Elon hadn't pushed the design envelope so far. Aside from that, I think it's a good vehicle as far as EV's go and I imagine you can get a decent deal on a used one. Though if the used car market continues to percolate that will...

    GM's 2.7 Turbomax .. getting a boost?

Underpowered, I don't know. 30 more torque, 15ish less HP and more towing with the Turbomax compared to the Ford 2.7. The RAM 3.0 is a different beast.

    GM's 2.7 Turbomax .. getting a boost?

Do me a favor. If you try launching that thing at all try it the normal way (brake stand - holding the brake, building some RPM then releasing the brake) and then try it by just slammming the gas pedal hard. Assuming 4 Auto is available. Curious if you notice a difference in the launch. Aside...

    GM's 2.7 Turbomax .. getting a boost?

https://gmauthority.com/blog/2026/03/gm-turbomax-2-7l-engine-to-get-more-power/ According to a few sources the 2.7 Turbomax is getting a boost in HP & Torque. That's a great engine, I rented a Chevy 1500 last year with this engine and I was pretty surprised at the power delivery and...

    Massive fire in Nebraska

I'm ignorant, are these fires mainly prairie fires? I didn't think there was much forested land outside of a few spots. Living in the PNW were surrounded by fires most of the summer, usually at least a week or two socked in with smoke from Eastern WA or B.C.
