Truck nuts illegal? They are now in Idaho

Talking about truck nutz....these are so fitting for an EV, and maybe even Idaho safe!

Ram Customer Care Response to 0w20 Oil Question

All true but does that mean it really needs it all the time or just when towing at high elevation in extreme hot conditions? We assume a heavier oil will increase longevity, but do we really have any evidence of that? Or what does that look like? Are we talking an extra 10K miles or 100K?

2026 Toyota Tundra updated: Fixes some problems, leaves others desired changes

Yep. I said it when everyone made a big deal about it back in 2022. My Ram "Sport" has none and it could not be optioned with them whatsoever. The front fascia has no openings to even mount them through. I would have needed to take a reciprocating saw to it.

2026 Toyota Tundra updated: Fixes some problems, leaves others desired changes

I think they've been better since 2022 than they've been for quite some time. Maybe they're on to something! Drop the tow-hooks and have big engine recall seemed to work well.

Stellantis posts 2.7B loss, blames tariffs

Maybe because it was much more than expected? Few makers are feeling the tariffs yet because current inventory being sold hasn't had the tariffs assigned. Next half of the year will be different. Which is amazing when they say that could be $1-1.5 B. Big jump from $385 M.

New writer John Cappa Ram 2500 towing piece

I've read John for decades. Back when I used to get a hard copy of JP and Four-wheeler. Always liked his writing and his leadership at both mags.

Stellantis posts 2.7B loss, blames tariffs

Their loss is $2.7B, but the tariffs cost them $385M, which is less than 15%. How are tariffs the biggest blame?

What happened to the $10k Toyota truck? It is on sale now

Yeah, I'd agree. Especially after 2024 which had so many new releases, this year has been pretty slow. The tariffs started to create news with anticipation of being able to create content on the results but then they get reduced or put on hold. Without some results of how they affect or not...

New VW ID.Buzz bus failing already in U.S.? Red flags

Too much of a niche vehicle and just not that interesting I'd guess.

Great discussion on how reliability data works and where it can fall short on being useful

I would disagree with both statements. Those statements are the definition of confirmation biases. You don't agree with CR results; therefore, their methodology and results must be wrong. I understand they are not the only source for reliability, but they have the greatest amount of data than...

What happened to the $10k Toyota truck? It is on sale now

Great truck for what it was built for. It would never sell here like it is. Maybe for Home Depot to rent out so people don't stack 10 sheets of drywall on top of their Corolla.......

Great discussion on how reliability data works and where it can fall short on being useful

I think it's much more positive and agreeable than not. But truthfully, it's always been that way; it's just now you can actually receive that feedback. This new digital world is the first time that people can directly reply to any statements about anything. Writing an article in a magazine...

Ford recalls 850k vehicles: Mexico supplier fuel pump mishaps

The question back to them is, "So no other brand issues multiple recalls for the same thing?" We all know others do and yet there's Ford with a slice of pie so big it would choke Joey Chestnut.....

Great discussion on how reliability data works and where it can fall short on being useful

To me CR, JD and the like are all just part of the equation. Knowing where the data comes from and how it's used is a big part of it. Surveying thousands of people and compiling the results is about as fair and equal as you can get. Will they always be truthful? Of course not, but the idea is...

Great discussion on how reliability data works and where it can fall short on being useful

Damn, I must be one of the few Ram owners that also has a CR account....lol. This is a great video and does point to the issues in trying to determine when something is "reliable" or not. And like any comparison, the amount of data and the source of data is so important. Personally, I tend to...
